Why do you need an eye test?

Our Optometrists will conduct a thorough eye examination which they will look closely at all aspects including the health of your eyes as well as testing your vision. The Eye Examination appointment will last up to 40 minutes.

Your eye examination is a vital health check as taking care of your eyes now can prevent possible complications later in life. Eye diseases often progress quickly and without any noticeable symptoms, but by seeing our Optometrists these can be detected through your eye exam.

We will ask questions about your eye sight, general health, your family’s health, and your lifestyle. We are then able to carry out many different tests during your eye examination, which will tailor to your individual needs.

We have a large range of Eyecare products including multivitamins which are beneficial for combating conditions due to aging like Macular degeneration, and also a whole range of drops and gels which can help with dry eye syndrome.

We are now able to use Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to take a scan of the back of your eyes to track any changes that may occur. In the past, this sort of procedure was only available in hospitals, now we are happy that we can offer it to all of our patients.
