 April 2019 – We are growing and are searching for an additional Dispensing Optician to join our team!

 

 Dispensing Optician – Part time or Full time hours available 

 The applicant must have as many of the following qualities….

 Have an up to date knowledge of fashion, frame styles & optical lenses. 

 Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and listening)

  • Be computer literate
  • Must be able to interpret optical prescriptions to enable proper lens choices
  • Be able to guide our patients to the right frame choice
  • Keen understanding of patient circumstances, needs and special requirements
  • Be a quick study; able to learn new skills and improve upon existing ones
  • Adept at administrative work
  • ABDO registration is a requirement or registration with a European equivalent
  • Have an exemplary CET record and be proactive in keeping up to date through CET
  • Be willing to attend conferences, courses and trade fairs to keep knowledge fresh and up to date
  • Be polite, courteous and professional at all times
  • Be able to work in a flexible manner
  • Be active in working with the team
  • Have passion for the industry and be able to help us move the practice forward.
